Are you feeling more like Halloween, Day of the Dead or Toussaint this long Weekend?

The great advantage of living in this wonderful Metropolis is that you can find a little piece from each part of the world so you can travel without leaving the city from season to season.

Halloween party at Le Point Ephèmere (Canal Saint Martin) 

On its 12th edition, the entrance fee is 5€ or free if you are completely disguised!

Mexican Day of the Dead festival, La Fête des Morts à Paris is organized by an association since 2003, there are lots of activities going on during the last week of October and first of November.

Some “Fiestas” by night take place in Mexican bars, one of them is called El Zocalo (49 rue Pixerecourt, Paris 20th) entrance fee is 10€ including a soft drink or Tequila.

If spiced party is not exactly what you are looking for, we recommend you to see the cultural program that the festival proposes, some “ofrendas” typical Mexican food and drink offering to their dead  are set up over decorated tables, they exhibit this altars at several places featuring some interesting facts about this ancient tradition and you also may find some activities for kids.

Some of them are also Mexican restaurants, so you may even take your chance to taste what the ancestors coming back for dinner are going to have this year. 

Our last recommendation for you,  is to get vintage groupie and go visit some celebrities buried at the three principal cemeteries of Paris, you can do it any other day but you will miss the flower decoration of the graves that French do for Toussaint and also some of them will open areas that are not often open to the public.
