Goodbye summer, Hello Parisian Festivals!

Don’t be so sad, yes, the summer is over but let’s say goodbye to it little by little each weekend of September, here are some last festivals in Paris and its suburbs for this ending season.

If you don’t know what “Banlieu Parisien” is, this is also the opportunity to see something else than the traditional touristic places that we already all know in Paris, discover what else Parisians enjoy doing just before yellow leaves start flying around in the parks.

This coming Saturday (September the 7th) it is maybe your last chance to experience an outdoor cinema in Paris this year, prepare your “rosé” bottle of wine and bring some friends with “tapenades” and some “charcuterie” to watch the winning films of the Festival Silhouette, and also remember to bring some comfy shoes to dance at the SALT PEANUTS, jazz-funk hip-hop concert starting 19:30.

Where?

19th district, Parc de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge (5 Avenue Debidour, 75019 Paris) Metro line 7B, Pré-Saint-Gervais.

More info in the festival Silhouette website in this link: http://www.association-silhouette.com/festival/competition-internationale-cinema-en-plein-air/cloture-et-remise-des-prix/

Not foodie enough for you? well don’t worry, we found the perfect alternative festival for “gourmands” and the best part of it, is that it goes on every weekend of September and some events are totally free, its name: Festival MIAM, a good place to get your belly prepared for winter, cooking workshops, organic products market, concerts and more events related to sustainable food and agriculture.

The meeting point, Bois de Boulogne at the GoodPlanet Foundation, the exact address is: 1 Carrefour de Longchamp, 75116 Paris, not far away from the Museum of modern art Fondation Louis Vuitton and next to the Longchamp Racecourse, we bet you’ll like it J .

The dates: 7th,8th, 14th ,15th, 21st and 22nd September, this means every weekend of September.

And our last recommendation takes place at the Racecourse but this time it’s at Auteuil in the 16th district close to Metro Porte d’Auteuil, organized by the local journal Le Parisien, Paris Paradis takes place from 27th to 29th September, concerts and workshops for everyone.

Free entrance but you need to register in their website, here is the link for you: http://www.leparisien.fr/parisparadis
