The last exhibitions of the year paired with some Christmas shopping spots in Paris

Of course we recommend you going to Leonard de Vinci’s exhibition at the Louvre Museum, if you haven’t already, this is a good time to do your reservation, don’t worry even if it is a huge success you still have some time to prepare your visit, the exhibition is going on until 24^th of February 2020.

However there are some other exhibitions that are coming to their end and that we consider you should definitely see, we prepared a list for you, along with a shopping addresses list in case that you feel like doing some shopping at the same time, anyway you have already decided to take your coat and go out so why not?

A massive light sculptures exhibition takes place in the Botanical Garden of Paris, presenting huge Marine Animals to as an awareness campaign about the fragility of our oceans.

This is a naturally a kid’s friendly exhibition that we are sure you will enjoy too.

Our shopping spot next to this exhibition is the Truffaut store, the perfect place to leave with a Christmas three or some green gifts for your family and friends, just a 10-minute walk from the “Jardin des Plantes” entrance.

Espace Lafayette - Drouot - 44 rue du Faubourg Montmartre, Paris 18th

This is 10 minutes walking from Galleries Lafayette and Printemps next to Opera Garnier where each year the window display of the stores sparks the same emotions on kids as a visit to Disneyland would do, at least the crowd gathering in front of them reminds us the park’s queues, what is actually something that we strongly recommend are the boutiques’ Gourmet Sections: Printemps du Goût and Galeries Lafayette Maison Gourmet,  where you will find the perfect gift for your friend “le plus gourmand” specialty coffe, specialty chocolate, MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) Best Craftman of France awarded products and more.

It must not be the most cheerful exhibition, but art is all about feelings; isn’t it?

This is one of those artists that either you like or you don’t, quite close to Les Halles shopping center if you are looking for an extensive choice of clothing stores or even closer (2minutes walk) the stores of Fleux on the street Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie where you will find accessories, deco objects, furniture, and other design that can be perfect gifts.

Atelier des Lumières - 38 rue Saint-Maur, Paris 11th

A digital exhibition with light mapping and music presenting the paintings of this iconic artist who lived in Paris Montmartre from 1886 to 1887, late night exhibitions will take place from the 20^th of December until the end of the show.

From there take a 20-minute walk or a 10 min Uber to go to Merci to find trendy deco and clothes.

Or walk for 5 minutes more to visit Empreintes a concept store that features crafty and artistic accessories and quite unique home deco made by local artisans.
