What is the Nuit Blanche in Paris and why can’t you miss it?
No matter the season, Paris has always something to offer to its residents, in October when the night starts falling earlier, Parisians got themselves a way to enlighten their way through the fading autumn and be prepared for winter, they call it Nuit Blanche and only happens once a year.

What is it?
Several public cultural places will be open until at least 2am, offering exhibitions, live performances, artistic installations, concerts, and this year also some lucky runners who subscribed early, will be able to visit some of this artistic venues in a “race format”, running from one place to another, to visit the most number of exhibitions they can, and all this for free.
When?
Saturday October 5th 2019 from 7pm to 2am (and even later).
Where?
There are several public art institutions and museums that will be open until late that night, but also you may follow the parade that leaves from Place de la Concorde at 7pm and gets to Place de la Bastille around 10PM.

For the bicycle lovers, a section of the “Peripherique” from Porte de Pantin to Porte de la Villette is going to be transformed into a colorful glowing cycling track, food trucks will be parked at the closed peripherique and concerts are going to take place at the Philarmonie de Paris and at the Sports center Jules Ladoumègue.
