Spring has arrived! Order brunch on the superb sunny terrace or just have a drink...

...in front of Le Louvres Pyramid ? Welcome in Paris!

Grand Coeur, a Delightful New Brasserie in the Marais,

Tucked away in a courtyard in the Marais, and occupying the same space as The Studio, a long-running but not regretted Tex-Mex restaurant that claims a flickering wick of memory only by reminding me of how much I miss authentic Mexican cooking in Paris, Grand Coeur  is a delightful new brasserie that serves a very good contemporary French menu.

Location : 41 rue du Temple, 4th Arrondissement, Paris,

Brunch at the at Jean Imbert restaurant : BB Blanche

You might have heard of 21 Blanche, the most deluxe sports room of Paris. In a private mansion that formerly hosted the theater school of the Rue Blanche, the Benzaquen brothers (already owners of the Ken Club and Klay) have installed their design pool, their state-of-the-art equipment and even a cinema room.

On the programme of treats : start off with a freshly squeezed juice and two nice lices or brioche, plain and pink praline. Choose your toast between crab, mimosa and beef tataki, that comes escorted with four glass verrines: coddled egg - mushrooms - arugula, tartare of carrot - herbal chips - cecina, leek salad - citrus fruit and quinoa - ricotta - bib lettuce - pomegranate. Healthy but not chintzy. For dessert, just choose between the waffle and the French style panettone (a total killer), along with their nice fruit salad.

Brunch €39, Sunday from 11:30am to 4pm.

Location :

BLANCHE - 21, rue Blanche, 9th Arrondissement, Paris,

Café Marly

This is the only place in the world where you can gaze at the glass pyramid in the courtyard of the Louvre while sipping coffee.

Talk about a view that is both inspired and inspiring. The Louvre's main courtyard and I. M. Pei's glass pyramid are visible from the terrace and windows of this favorite haunt of impossibly chic Parisians.

The tall columns, high vaulted ceilings and deep reds and golds of the decor lend an air of formality, but also a welcome respite to those who have been tromping through the museum for hours.

Location : 93, rue de Rivoli, 1th Arrondissement, Paris.
